May 2013Spring Maintenance
As weather has improved, you may want to have a look at your lot to assess any spring time maintenance that may be needed such as moss removal on roofs, exterior painting of homes or fences, etc. Please remember any color change to the paint on the exterior of your home or fence requires prior approval from the Architectural Committee.
Irrigation
The front yard and common area irrigation has started due to the warm weather. Please report any issues to your Community Manager.
Community Events
If you’re looking for a great pastime, the Tigard Public Library has a lot of great programs and events.
CC&R REMINDERS
- Basketball Hoops: Please be advised that portable basketball hoops are not allowed in the community per the CC&Rs. “4.17 Recreational Equipment. No playground, athletic or recreational equipment or structures, including without limitation, basketball backboards, hoops and related supporting structures, shall be permitted, installed or utilized on any Lot in view from any public street, sidewalk or Common Area within the Property.”
- Keep trash cans and recycle bins out of view. Please remember that trash and recycle containers should only be placed out on the regularly scheduled trash pick-up day.
- Please do not store any vehicles in the street and be considerate to not park too close to the corners so that there are no visibility issues for other vehicles.
- Thinking of making some exterior improvements? Remember, any changes or additions to the exterior of your property must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The ARC form may be found on the Management Trust website. When you apply to the ARC for any changes (before starting any structural or landscape improvement), be sure to include the plans and specifications showing (if applicable) the nature, shape, heights, materials, colors, and proposed location of the improvement. Remember that you must have your project approved in writing by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) before beginning work. Note that an ARC application must also be submitted if you want to install a satellite dish.
